Just wanted to let everybody know, that the NOTB mini ramp is officially open for the season. Come skate the mini, its open to everybody. The tranny is mellow and the flat is the perfect size.

You just need to come into the store and sign the waiver if your 18+. If not, please bring your parents in to sign a waiver for you.

Progress on the New Salem Skate Park

It has been a while since anybody has mentioned the Salem Skate Park, but I just got a new picture today of the progress on it. It more of park then a skate park in the picture, but it is a huge step forward on getting this project done. The next phase is moving the ramps and rails in, which have been in storage since the beginning.  It should defiantly be done by the time school get outs for the summer. For those that don't know where it is located, it is going in over at Hedgehog Pond Park in Salem, NH. Stay tuned for more updates and new pictures.

Pictures from Bowl of Steez

The "Bowl of Steez" skate comp was a great day. Tons of kids showed up to compete in the progression session bowls. Cute girls from muscle milk were there giving away free sample and keeping all the skaters energized. Steez Mini Mag was keeping the hype going and getting all the kids to push themselves. Blunted! Clothing was there selling shirts and hoodies. Overall, it was a great day at the park.

NOTB wants to wish everybody a Happy Earth Day. Think about the earth today, so if you see a piece of trash, pick it up. If the lights are on and not being used, turn it off. Be conscious about how much water and energy you use today. We can all make a difference if we put a little thought into it. Now, I’m going to go plant a tree.

Collin Provost is on Emerica.. Duh!

As a team manager, you have to keep a constant look out for up and coming skaters who will possibly one day be a member of the team. A while back Remy Stratton from Volcom told me that Collin Provost, a young buck at the time, wanted to ride for Emerica. I started flowing him shoes and took him on some trips. He was really young but you could tell he was such a natural. Over the years we saw Collin grow and become very powerful on a skateboard.

An all terrain ripper, he has the skills to make everything look really easy. The Emerica team took notice of Collin stepping it up over the past couple of years. After sticking it out on flow and putting in some hard work he has earned himself a spot on the Emerica team. Congratulations Collin and Welcome aboard!
